Transfers
Landing at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport and heading to Marrakech? You can take the train, the bus or a private transfer. Here is how long each option takes, what it costs and which one suits your trip.
| Option | Total time | Approx. price |
|---|---|---|
| Train (with a change in Casablanca) | 3h30–4h + waiting | ~130–170 MAD per person (2nd class) |
| Bus (CTM / Supratours) | 3h30+ from Casablanca | Per seat |
| Private transfer | About 2h30, door to door | From €120 per car |
Fares change from time to time, so treat them as a guide. The train is the cheapest option for one or two people travelling light. For a family or a group, or if you land late, a private transfer is usually simpler and often costs about the same per person.
There is no direct train from the airport to Marrakech. The journey has two parts:
Counting the wait between trains, the whole trip usually takes 3h30 to 4 hours. In Marrakech, the station is in Gueliz, so you still need a taxi to your riad or hotel. The last connections leave in the evening, so the train is not a good option if your flight lands late.
With a private transfer between Casablanca and Marrakech, your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign and drives you straight to your riad or hotel along the A7 motorway. The trip takes about 2h30, with a stop whenever you need one.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Price per vehicle |
|---|---|---|
| Sedan | 1 to 3 | €120 |
| Van | up to 6 | €155 |
| Minibus | up to 12 | €300 |
| Minibus | up to 17 | €360 |
Motorway tolls, fuel, luggage and flight tracking are included. The price is the same at any hour, so a late landing is not a problem. For three people in a sedan, that is €40 each — not far from the cost of two train tickets each plus a taxi at the end.
Send your flight number and your address in Marrakech. Fixed price, driver waiting in arrivals.
CTM and Supratours run coaches between Casablanca and Marrakech, but they leave from the city, not from the airport. You first need to get to Casablanca by train or taxi, which makes the bus the slowest option for this trip.
If you want to see Casablanca on the way, ask for a stop at the Hassan II Mosque. Tell us when you book so we can plan the time.
No. You take the airport train to Casa Voyageurs, then change to a train for Marrakech. The full trip usually takes 3h30 to 4 hours.
About 2 hours 30 minutes on the A7 motorway, door to door.
From €120 per car for 1 to 3 passengers, €155 for a van for up to 6. Tolls and luggage are included.
It is risky, as the last connections leave in the evening. A private transfer works at any hour, at the same price.
A private transfer is usually easier: no change of train, no carrying bags between platforms, child seats on request and a drop-off at your door.
