Route Guide
The private taxi from Marrakech to Agadir covers about 245 km, almost all of it on the A7 motorway, a modern toll road. It is the fastest and safest way across the western High Atlas: no mountain hairpins, just long curves through the hills before the road drops down to the Souss plain and the Atlantic.

Many surfers and families heading to the coast do not stop in Agadir itself. We drive directly to the surf villages north of the city, such as Taghazout and Tamraght, or to Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA) if you are flying out from there. Tell us the exact address when you book and we confirm the price. The return trip is covered on our Taghazout to Marrakech page.

Agadir is sunny most of the year, so this route is busy in every season, especially during European school holidays, Christmas and New Year, and summer, when many Moroccan families head to the coast. Book a few days ahead in those periods, and as soon as you know your dates for a minibus.
