From landing to your riad: what happens
Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) is only about 6 km from the medina, so the drive itself is short. Most of the time goes on passport control and luggage, and that is where a driver who is already waiting for you makes the biggest difference.

Price by group size
Prices are per vehicle, not per person, and fixed when you book. Luggage, flight tracking, waiting time for delays and night arrivals are all included. You pay the driver in cash, in euros or dirhams, when you arrive.

Airport bus, taxi or private transfer?
- Airport bus L19 (about 30 MAD per person): runs roughly every 20 to 30 minutes from early morning until about 21:30 and stops at Jemaa el-Fna and in Gueliz. Cheap, but there is no service for late arrivals and you still walk to your riad with your bags.
- Airport taxi (usually about 120–200 MAD per car): take only official taxis from the rank outside, and agree the price before you get in. Drivers who approach you inside arrivals often ask several times the normal fare, especially at night.
- Private transfer (from €18 per car): your driver is already waiting with your name, the price is fixed before you land, and the driver knows how to reach your riad. The easiest option for families, late arrivals and first visits.

Staying in a riad in the medina
Most riads in Marrakech's medina are in lanes that are too narrow for cars. Your driver takes you to the closest point a car can reach and, if needed, calls your riad so that a member of staff comes to meet you and guide you through the alleys. Send us the name of your riad when you book and we check the best drop-off point in advance.
Late-night and early-morning flights
We work 24/7 at the same fixed price, with no night surcharge. This matters most at night: the airport bus stops running around 21:30 and there are fewer taxis, so prices tend to go up. Going back to the airport
The return trip to Marrakech Airport costs the same (see riad to airport). Security and check-in queues at RAK can be long in high season, so plan to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before an international flight, or 3 hours at the busiest times. From most riads and hotels, a pickup about 2½ to 3 hours before departure is enough. Send us your flight time and we suggest the pickup time.

Quick arrival tips
- Cash: you can withdraw dirhams from the ATMs at the airport. A small amount is handy for tips and your first purchases.
- Mobile data: local SIM cards are sold in the arrivals area and are much cheaper than roaming.
- Address: keep the name, phone number and map location of your riad or hotel on your phone.
- WhatsApp: save our number, so you can reach your driver directly if anything changes.
